Dr. Ferreira is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at the Cytopathology Center of Excellence at UPMC Shadyside. She holds dual fellowship training in Cytopathology and Hematopathology.

Diagnostic cytopathology, pathologist-performed fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures, rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE), and cytomorphologic correlation of hematolymphoid processes, among others.
