Dr. Michael Feldman is the Department Chair of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine. Dr. Feldman holds the Manwaring Professorship in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Previously, Dr. Feldman served as Vice-Chair of Clinical Services and Director of Pathology Informatics at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine. He is a highly respected physician-scientist with extensive experience in strategic planning, healthcare operations and translational research. At IU, Dr. Feldman is building a program that spans bench-to-bedside research and expands clinical care in innovative ways and advancing its legacy of excellence. He is passionate about mentoring students & faculty, advocating for Digital Pathology and promoting the use of on-demand technologies. Dr. Feldman has received numerous teaching awards and is known for his collaborative leadership style.
