  • Opportunity to apply for department-funded trainee mentored research awards (up to $10,000 per project per year; one funded project per resident per year)
  • Opportunity to apply for department-funded Pathology Investigator Residency/Research Training Program (PIRRT) basic science training one year fellowship (Research Track Option)
  • Protected CP rotations with active learning and hands on experiences (e.g., “hot seat,” rounding with clinical team, solving micro unknowns, etc.)
